We focus on teaching your dog to be a well-mannered family companion.  We use only humane, positive reinforcement technique in our training.  These methods are both dog and owner-friendly, effective, and fun!  Just because you are using positive methods does not mean you are being permissive.  We'll show you how to work with your dog as team, set fair rules and boundaries, and form a lasting relationship built on mutual trust, love, and understanding.    Clear communication between owner and dog is the basis for successful training.  Behavior problems are often a result of miscommunication between dog and owner.  Dogs are often mislabeled as stubborn, stupid, dominant, or spiteful when they are often just misunderstood.  We can help you to better understand canine behavior and how to communicate with your dog.  Teaching your dog what you WANT him to do is almost always more effective than correcting or punishing him for what you don't want. Whether you have a new puppy or a dog with a serious behavior problem, know that we are here to help both you and your dog succeed.
