| Group Training Classes |
This training class is designed for dogs ages 5 months and older with previous training. In this class we introduce more challenging
training skills and take the skills your dog already knows to the next level.
Training skills taught in Beyond the Basics include:
- Heeling on leash
- Automatic Sits when heeling
- "Go to your bed"
- Long distance recalls (coming when called)
- 1 minute Stay with distractions
- Fetching & retrieving objects
Strong emphasis is placed on:
- Training consistent, willing responses from the dog without food rewards.
- Gaining dog's focus even around tough distractions.
DOG REQUIREMENTS:
- Open to dogs 5 months and older who have Graduated from our Basic Manners class
or an equivalent training class elsewhere.
- Proof of vaccination or a veterinary permission letter is required before joining class. If you do not bring your dog's record, you cannot
participate in class.
- Dogs should be treats for fleas/ticks
CLASS SCHEDULE:
Monday August 6 - 27, 6-7P
FEE & HOW TO REGISTER:
$60/per dog for 4-week class. **DOGS ATTEND ALL 4 WEEKS; THERE IS NO ORIENTATION FOR THIS CLASS!!**
