- Dogs must be current on their vaccinations and you must provide us
with a copy of your dog's current  vaccination record on your first night of
class.  If you do not bring this information, your dog will not be permitted
to attend class.

- Dogs attending class must be in good health and be free of internal
parasites (worms).  Dogs who have been recently spayed/neutered
and still have sutures, dogs who are vomiting, having diarrhea, acting
lethargic, are coughing, or have weeping eyes/nose cannot attend class.
Dogs who have had any contagious skin disorders in the last 6 weeks
may not attend class.

- Although not required, we recommend dogs are on some form of
flea/tick preventative such as Frontline or Advantix.

- Group classes are intended for dog- and people-friendly dogs; group classes are
NOT the place to work
out behavior problems such as aggression.  The Instructor will remove any dog from class who displays
aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs (such as growling, lunging, snapping, or aggressive
barking).  Dogs who display excessively fearful behavior or dogs who appear to be sick or unhealthy will
also be removed from class and the owner will have the option of applying the remainder of their class fee
toward a private training session.
Our top priority is to maintain a safe, comfortable learning
environment for all our students – human and canine.

- Female dogs in heat may not attend class.  If your intact female goes into heat, you may continue to
attend class without her.

- Classes start promptly on time.  If you're attending for the first time and arrive late, we cannot stop class
to sign you in.  You'll be asked to come back the next night that class is offered or the following week.

- Keep a minimum of 3' feet between dogs during class.  There will be designated "playtime" at the
beginning and end of class.

- Classes are held outdoors and as a result, we are at the mercy of the weather.  Class is canceled if it is
raining, storming, or there is a severe weather advisory.

- Casual attire is recommended: sneakers, jeans, etc.  Since we are outside in the park high heeled
shoes or sandals are not recommended.

KIDS IN CLASS
We encourage whole family participation!  Families who wish to include their children in the training
experience must follow a few safety rules:
- Children must be supervised at all times by a parent/adult guardian so we ask that 2 adults attend class
(one to train the dog; one to supervise the child).

- Please remind children not to pet other people's dogs in class.  Not all dogs are kid-friendly and even
normally friendly dogs may react differently when stressed.

- Please remind children not to feed other people's dogs (including the Instructor's dogs).  Some dogs
may be on special diets or have food allergies.

- CALM QUIET children are welcome in class.  Running, yelling, and boisterous activity can frighten dogs
or stress them out.

- Children 12 years and older may hold the leash and be your dog's primary trainer, if physically capable.
We reserve the right to revoke this privilege at any time if we deem it a safety concern.

- We are not baby-sitters.  Do not drop off your child at class with the dog.  Even if the dog "belongs" to the
child, an adult must be present at all times for children under 18 years of age.

CLASS LOCATION
Outdoor group training classes are held in Brady's Run Park, near shelter #6.  Brady's Run is located in
Brighton Township off Route 51/Constitution Blvd, less than 3 miles from Route 376 (formerly Route 60).

When we receive your registration form, we will send you a confirmation email which includes the
directions to the class location (also shown below).  If you are not familiar with Brady's Run Park, we
highly recommend driving out to the class location before your class starts.  Its not hard to find but if you
are still unclear about the class location,
contact us for help.

If you are coming from Route 51/Constitution Blvd, turn into Brady's Run Park.  You are now on Brady's
Run Road.  You will pass the Walking Trail parking lot on your right and the entrance to the ice arena is on
your left.  As you continue straight, you will next pass the recycling center & horse training arena on your
left.  Continue straight and the next left turn will have a sign for shelters 4,5,& 6.  You can turn here if you
want, but it is much easier and more direct to stay on the main road.  So, continue straight on Brady's Run
Road and make the
very next left turn and go down a slight hill.  A blue restroom building will be in front of
you.  Stay toward the right and shelter #6 will now be on your left.

If you come to the Lodge or lake, you have gone too far.

If you are coming from Dutch Ridge Road/Park Road, turn into Brady's Run Park.  Go past the lake and
after you pass the Lodge on your right, make the
very next right turn.  You will see a sign for shelters 4, 5,
& 6.   When you turn, a blue restroom building will be in front of you, stay to the right and shelter #6 will be
on your left.

If you come to the recycling center or ice arena, you've gone too far.

**The class location IS visible from Brady's Run Road!  Class is NOT held at the Dog Park.

Please remember to bring ample poop bags to clean up after your dog.  Dogs must be on leash at all
times in the park and are not permitted in the picnic shelters.

Puppy FUNdamentals and Puppy Playtime is held at The Animal Wellness Centre located at 1410 Third
Avenue, New Brighton.

Off-street parking is available in the lot to the left of the building.
